The Role: Production Operative

We have various openings currently for Production Operatives to work in our Manufacturing facility. You will be involved in producing goods and help to deliver a seamless service and experience to our customers by producing products with amazing taste. 

The successful candidate will have good work ethic, high attention to detail and the ability to work using their own initiative. Previous experience working in a warehousing environment would be ideal and reasonable level of fitness due to the nature of the role. You will need to be available to start ASAP and have your own safety shoes.

To be a successful Production Operative, we require:

• Prepare specialised products according to recipes and food safety guidelines,
• Ensure precise measurements and adherence to quality standards to produce consistent and high quality products,
• Monitor equipment and troubleshoot any issues to maintain optimal performance

Mixing:

• Accurately measure and mix various food powders according to formulation guidelines.
• Utilise mixing equipment efficiently and safely to achieve uniform blends.
• Follow batch records and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to maintain batch traceability and quality control.

Labelling:

• Apply labels to products with precision and attention to detail.
• Ensure compliance to company standards for labelling and packaging.
• Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organisation of production areas to uphold hygiene standards and prevent cross-contamination.

Team Collaboration:

• Collaborate effectively with other production team members to achieve production goals and deadlines.
• Communicate any challenges to supervisor and management.
• Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment, regularly promoting productivity and teamwork.
• The ability to lift and move heavy items
• A positive attitude and a willingness to learn new skills
• A flexible approach to work and the ability to work shifts
• Basic numeracy and literacy skills and IT proficiency
• Previous experience in a warehouse or similar role is desirable but not essential
